CONCERT OPUS 11 - 2013
choreography / dance Bożena Eltermann
music / flute Manfred Maier
"Concerto Opus 11" is the first part of a dance diptych under a common title "Concerts". The use of the terminology relating to the music aims to show both analogy and autonomy of dance in relation to music. Kazuo Fukushima, Claude Debussy, Louis Moyse, Johann Sebastian Bach, Philip Emanuel Bach are the authors of the flute solos performed by a perfect German flutist Manfred Maier. Movement and dancing accompanying these compositions present a distinct choreographic thought. The audience receives the key to understanding this process during the play. The spectacle takes a form of a laboratory through which the viewer moves with the guide.
